Cedar Republic was born from a simple frustration: the market is flooded with plastic shutters pretending to be wood. We watched homeowners spend thousands on vinyl that fades, composite that cracks, and pine dressed up to look like something better. We decided to stop pretending and start building.
Our shutters are made from real western red cedar — the same species we've worked with for years in our pre-stained lumber program. Every pair is cut to exact dimensions at our Alexandria, Tennessee mill, assembled with exterior-grade fasteners, and finished with EXPERT Professional Wood Care stain before it ships. What arrives at your door is a finished product. Hang it and you're done.
