Most staining jobs fail because of what happens before the stain goes on. Our process exists to make sure every surface is properly prepared, every board is fully penetrated, and every customer walks away knowing exactly what they got and why it will last.

Free On-Site Estimate
We come to your property, assess the condition of the wood, identify any prep needs (stripping, repair, brightening), and give you a written quote. No pressure, no obligation — usually same or next day.

Scheduling & Prep Checklist
Once you approve the quote, we schedule your job and send you a prep checklist: what to move, how to handle pets and plants, and when we need water access. You handle the prep checklist; we handle everything else.

Surface Cleaning & Brightening
This is where most crews cut corners — and where we don't. Every surface gets a professional clean and brightening treatment. We open the wood pores so the stain penetrates instead of sitting on top.

Proper Dry Time
We wait for the wood to be fully dry — typically 24–48 hours — before applying stain. Staining wet wood is one of the biggest causes of early stain failure. We don't rush this step.

Professional Stain Application
Two-coat back-brush application of EXPERT® penetrating stain. We work the stain into the grain on every surface, ensuring even coverage and no dry spots. Vertical and horizontal surfaces get different attention based on exposure.

Quality Walkthrough
Before we leave, we walk the entire project with you. Any touch-up needs are addressed on the spot. We don't leave until you're satisfied. You also get care instructions and an estimated maintenance timeline.
Prep is 80% of the job. We don't skip it.

EXPERT® Stain & Seal
Our primary penetrating stain product. Oil-based, semi-transparent through semi-solid formulas. Applied by back-brush for deep fiber penetration.
EXPERT® Deck & Fence Cleaner
Professional-grade wood cleaner that removes organic matter, mold, and surface contamination before staining. Step one of our prep process.
EXPERT® Wood Brightener
Oxalic acid-based brightener that reverses UV graying, neutralizes tannins, and pH-balances the surface for optimum stain penetration.
